Who runs a business this way? If the Seller ships April 9th, how can the
buyer expect to get it as early as April 7th?I would love to see the
algorithm used to come up with these dates.

I purchased my USPS label on the infamous Oct 20th Amazon Web Services
crash which is the cause of all this. The tracking number is
automatically uploaded to ebay order details and automatically shows
"Shipped". But the AWS outage has disrupted USPS ...
I, and others, tried this, but it did not trigger any updates to ebay.If
tracking started coming though to ebay it was just a coincidence and had
nothing to do with signing up for USPS informed delivery.

I have a 4 day lead time for all my shipments. I had until yesterday,
10/23, but shipped the item I am having a problem with early on 10/20. I
expected to see a defect for late shipment with no carrier scans today,
