USPS shipping confusion, please help

The usps shipping is stuck here for days, i don't know if the package is lost. seller didn't respond my messages...will this tracking number be fake? Has the seller sent the item yet? if the package is in Chino, it would only take 10min drive to get to my house. Please help me out, Thank you so much for reading it.

nothing to be confused about

no need to call anyone

you have an expected delivery date

if your item has not arrived by that date then wait 2 more and open up and INR

using the phone in this situation is a disadvantage

just what is it you hope to accomplish?

to get the CSR to say, "it might be late",  "it might not have been sent yet"

worrying about a recent purchase can be  counterproductive

knowing when to worry is an art learned thru ebay

looking at the tracking is not going to improve your mood

after all...........you will not be concerned about tracking once you have your item

It is troublesome if the seller has not replied to your Q. It is a matter of good customer service and etiquette to reply.

There is no tracking info, so either:

1- The package was never scanned after delivery to post office or pick up by carrier.

2- Seller never delivered pkg to post office or had mail carrier pick it up.

If the pkg does not get to you by the last day of the expected delivery date, open an 'item not received' case to get a refund.

Note: just because the ship from address is so close to the ship to address, it does not mean the pkg will get to you any faster. I've seen pkgs go hundreds of miles away from the destination address before finally turning back around to be delivered.

"Departed shipping partner facility, USPS awaiting item" means that it is being handled by somebody else (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and nothing will show up on USPS's tracking until it's in USPS's hands, which could be as late as the day it arrives at your local PO for delivery. It wouldn't be delivered to your local PO over the holiday weekend. Try to be patient.
