I have 4 items go out for delivery on the 28th, the tracking shows all 4 items were delivered at the same time and place. but I only received 2 of the 4 items.
I checked with my family and the people next door and I could not find the 2 packages. I got with the post office any they could not find the two items ether.
I told the two sellers on the 28th and have been keeping them upto date, one said nothing the other offered a 3$ refund for the 15$ item.
At this point what should I do? The two missing items were sent first class and the tracking says delivered.
The sellers are not intirely at fualt but they used the USPS to deliver the itmes and it is there reposabilty to make sure I get the itmes. But I'll never win a non delivery case when the tracking says deliverd and a SNAD would not be right as I have nothing to retrun.
What sould I do at this point?

its 4 sellers, 2 item arrived 2 did not.
Anyway I won the INR cases via paypal, oddly both sellers did not mail the items to the right address and the mail went back to the sellers, but oddly the new mail person mark them as delivered.
I have a very hard time believing this as I had USPS pull up the tracking data and some how we both mist it. Makes me think something is going on. And one seller state they never got the itme back.
Very odd.

The seller's DID do their jobs...they got tracking for the packages.
They do not owe you any refund or replacement.
If you can't track down the items, well, that's the chance you take. The items could have even been stolen after delivery. Are you going to say that the seller is responsible for that?
How exactly do you expect the sellers to "make sure" you get your item? Fly out and deliver it personally into your hands?
Things go astray sometimes, and that's life!

But the sellers hired USPS to deliver the items and I never recived the items.
And why would someone steel two pagages but not all 4?

First, the seller did their job. The USPS is generally reliable and very cost effective ... yes, they could have shipped those lightweight packages via UPS, but it could have added $10 to the cost of each.
Second, there are so many thing that could have gone wrong here. (1) The packages could have been stolen, (2) the packages could have been delivered to a completely different address, (3) the packages could be laying by the side of the street somewhere and lost ... they were marked "delivered" because some postal deliverers mark all packages delivered as they are loaded on the truck; (4) they might have gotten undelivered and could magically show up in the next week; or (5) a squirrel grabbed them and used them to build his nest.
What can you do? Not much. If it were me, I would at least track down the carrier and see if he remembers delivering 4 packages to my home on that day. That might help narrow down the possibilities.

After a certain number of days (can't recall exactly how many), file a lost package report with USPS. Even if you opened up an INR with the seller, all the seller has to do is enter the tracking number that shows delivered and they're off the hook.
Yes, the seller hired USPS to deliver the packages. And tracking shows the packages WERE delivered. So the seller fulfilled their end of the bargain.

Thats just it, the post office and mail carrier knows nothing of the pacaksges that are missing.
All they know is that the tracking say deliverd

And i live in a very small town.

Keep checking with your neighbours..Mine have been misdelivered a few times to other mailboxes..Sellers can do no more in regards to your "packages"...

As far as ebay and paypal are concerned, there is nothing you can do. The seller isn't responsible for your packages. Doesn't matter if they "hired" usps. I understand this is frustrating but since they were shipped first class, you really no recourse. Did you get the location the items were delivered to from USPS? That will help you determine if they were stolen after delivery.

Ask the P.O. to use the GPS system they have to locate the packages.

Ask sellers to add signature tracking on your next purchases for a safer delivery. Be sure you have a safe receptacle for retrieving packages, or a P.O. box.

they were delivered to the middle of the street according to usps gps data..
The PO doesn't know anything about the two missing packages, all they know is were the last scan was.

You are just going to have to face the fact that your item will never be found, and your money will not be refunded.

that would do hardly nothing in my town, 75% of the time the PO just delivers the pagage.
