Howdy, I was just curious what you recommend doing as far as packing slips. Do you include them or not, that is the question? 😀🤔 Thanks in advance for your reply!

I've NEVER included one in an EIS order and shipped out easily over 100....

Never used one period. US or international. Never seemed to bother anyone.

Me neither (both US and EIS or GS back in the day). I do include a 1/2 sheet with directions and I had write 'thank you' off to the side and then list the item, items they purchased.
I'm not even sure EIS opens the package (saw a picture a buyer sent me and it was same as I sent it)?

I like to include a packing slip.
I usually sell about 25-30 items every Sunday and a lot of those buyers are multiple purchases. Customers are reminded who it is from and I write Thank You on the packing slip.
And if the label on the outside is damaged, the packing slip has everything needed to complete the shipping, although, I've never had any buyers complain about a damaged label.
Seems like all the replies for you are about half that do and half that don't!

To me it is a waste.
Though about a decade ago I got a negative for NOT giving one.

I have way more solds than that, never heard of needing one and ebay has never said anything about not including one.

I used to always include one, but changed my mind over time. Some people do, some don't, I split the difference. Common lower value items, no. If going EIS, I usually do (in case the item is unpacked/repacked they have a record of what should go to my customer). All items worth more than my personal risk tolerance get a packing slip (if an expensive item ends up in the dead letter office, or possibly misdelivered, having a packing slip inside may help recover it.)
I don't think for items of small value it is worth it for me personally, over the course of many years the cost of all of that toner or ink and paper would be far more than a one in a zillion inexpensive lost item that needs to be (and can be) recovered.

I wrap everything in a sheet of eBay branded tissue paper.
Buyers are so happy they do not even realize that I did not include a packing slip. 😁

Last time I included a packing slip was probably around 2013.
As a buyer I always think...what a waist of paper.

I send them with every package. I print 2 on a 8.5 x 11 and then use a paper cutter to separate them.
