Why are sellers allowed to have delivery within 2 days or 2 or 3 days as the last purchases I made was due to the 2 day delivery and the other was 2 or 3 day delivery on there listing. However the first one was 2 or 3 day delivery but it took more like 5 days and they wanted me to wait 2 weeks for the item and they were only 75 miles from me. Now I have one that had 2 day delivery and it has not moved yet. I feel sellers should not be able to list this way if they can not fulfill the promise of delivery. I take it as being promised just like the part, just not right getting someone to purchase from you putting that on there and do not deliver, to me not only does it look like a seller that I can not trust but it makes eBay look bad as well.

you Are correct as I live in Hawaii and the time Ebay puts down for delivery is the same as from one east coast State to another.

eBay puts those estimated delivery times in the listings, depending on the service that the seller chose, combined with eBay's secret formula based mostly on average delivery times. Don't blame the sellers if those estimates are too optimistic.

Thank You, however I feel that should not be put on there it is not right. This is my last purchase on ebay that shows the 2 or 3 day delivery. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way. I am going to lose my job if that does not make it. I will more than likely purchase one Saturday if it is not here and then I will have no choice but to file it on eBay.

@laptopdesktoprepair those dates are put by eBay and the seller has no chioce.
They are also NOT a guarantee but an ESTIMATE.
If not receiving an item in 2 days will "make you lose your job" you should have bought local and not trusted having it shipped to you.
That you would take this out on the seller ..... well, thanks for posting here!
The last FB you left because USPS was taking longer is awful.

That seller you left that last feedback for should appeal to Ebay to have it removed. Actually, it says more about you than it does the seller.

Ebay doesn't ship anything. USPS, for example- says Priority is 1-3 days. This would TOTALLY Depend on where you are and where the seller is, coupled with the 'handling time' a seller has on their listings.
