Shipping with Ebay Standard Envelope for Sports Cards under $20 / USPS First Class w/ Global Shippin

Couldn't really find an answer on this but I sell a lot of hockey cards and a lot of my customers are from Canada. My less expensive cards I've been selling with eBay Standard Envelope (which I know can't be used with the global shipping program) So my question is.....If I select eBay standard envelope and also for a 2nd shipping method USPS First Class then select Global shipping program for international will overseas buyers be forced to use USPS first class? and they will see their total charge from the global shipping program? I don't want them to be able to select eBay standard envelope and think I can ship that item for .99 cents to Canada. Thanks for all of your help! I couldn't really get a straight answer on it.

I like you already for that idea, but the loophole idea might not work. You may end up incurring more costs and confusing/overwhelming buyers. I would just keep it .

So you feel, the international buyer may see he is able to ship with Ebay standard envelope? I would hope ebay would block an international customer and they would just be able to see the USPS first class flat shipping charge of 2.99 which I do then they would see the rest of the cost through the global shipping program. I suppose if they do see ebay standard envelope as an option to them i would def. take a loss for paying 3 and change to ship a card thats worth .50 cents. lol. Im just hoping they don't see that. Are you international by any chance? I would like to see what someone internationally sees on one of my for sale items. I can give the item number so you/ they would be able to check it out to confirm.
