I'm not sure if I am even posting this in the right place to get help or answers but this is the problem. I purchased an item and the tracking number shows the package to be delivered but it wasn't, the carrier that was used to supposedly ship the package is one that I have never heard of ( don't know if I can mention the carrier name but if that's ok then I will if someone says it's ok ) anyway the tracking info shows that the package left Chicago at 3:47pm on the 10th and was out for delivery in San Antonio Tx at 4:58pm on the 10th, how is it possible to get a package from chicago to Texas in one hour and eleven minutes? The tracking info also says delivered to a safe place and then only uses the zip code, when I contacted the seller they uploaded a picture of alledged delivery in a yard that is no way mine and so I upload a pic of my yard to prove it's not mine. So I had to open a case but because the tracking shows delivered they sided with the seller and I don't understand how? Please help

The carriers are aware of this scam but it looks like none is doing anything. File a Chargeback immediately and avoid being played like dumb because everyone is getting their fee share so the burden of proof sometimes lies on us. I have had many many scams pulled off against me as a seller and I know what is is like proving that you are right and doing the right and being found at fault for no reason.
Reverse this transaction that certainly you will win.

Unfortunately this seems to be more & more of a common scam. Yes you can mention the carrier.
How it "arrived" in one hour and minutes is that the seller probably had a package that was sent to another buyer with the same zip code as yours earlier in the week...so all the seller did was upload that same tracking number to your package and voila - "delivered." (They probably sell on other sites like Amazon or Etsy so they can have another tracking number unrelated to eBay.)
The only thing that you can try and do is to attempt to get the carrier to show that the pkg was not delivered to your address.

It looks like a scam similar to the seeds that were ship randomly to customers. What happens here is that based on your zip code, they ship whatever item is close to yours and the tracking number never shows or pin point exactly your address. Maybe the carrier has it detailed internally but for us we can see only that a certain item was delivered.
For example: You live in the zip code area 123456 and the postal office has a certain number of streets within this area. A thief could use the same zip 123456 with a valid tracking number for an item - seeds or a very cheap gadget - sent to another random address in your area and upload this valid tracking number for you. Probably this seller was so busy trying to pull of lots of scams like this and uploaded this super fast delivery by mistake and you caught on immediately.
You can try to go on eBay for Business on Facebook if you have a subscription and if you don't have any plausible explanation, you can go to your Bank and immediately file a Chargeback dispute and you will certainly win.
It is sad but this still happens and I have heard about this elaborate scheme recently and hope it helps ya.

You know...now that I think about it...maybe you can get eBay's CS to look at this since it traveled all they way from Chicago to Texas in one hour and 11 minutes...this might be the kink in the seller's chain that you can expose.
If eBay is unwilling to help you, ask PayPal, if not PayPal and you used a CC, ask your CC company about this and stress the fact that the packages tracking is showing that the item was delivered in one hour and 11 minutes from the moment that you ordered the item??? And at that distance??? I am hoping that you used a CC and that your CC's CS is located in the US so that they know what you are talking about distance wise.

Thank you so much for your help, I have contacted the carrier which is Bluecare express and they don't reply back. I would like to find a way to have this stopped before to many more buyers are done the same way, I have done some research and this has happened to other buyers already and eBay does nothing to help because of the fake tracking number. Even if I don't get a refund I would like to find a way to get eBay to stop allowing this company to be used if possible. Thank you again

I really appreciate you taking the time to help, I am going to contact paypal because that's how I paid although it did pull it out of my bank. Do you think it more wise to go directly to my bank or just contact paypal? The carrier is Bluecare express and it has been used many times on ebay with the same results that I have experienced , I have looked this company up and it's not good and so I would like to see if there is a way to get ebay to stop allowing this company to be used because buyers are loosing their money due to the fake tracking number showing delivered.

I paid through PayPal but it pulls it straight from my bank and yes it is here in the us. From the info I gathered from people who have used Bluecare express they have all had the same issue and just about the same timing for delivery, I have screenshots of a bunch of the complaints and plan on using everything I can gather. I wish I could upload pictures here so everyone could see exactly what has taken place. Thank you so much

Try to go to PayPal and reverse this transaction and then if nothing is done, go to the Bank. If I were you, I would go to both as you have nothing else more to lose.
Ebay could certainly do something simple by forcing the system to generate a mirror of the shipping label in case the shipping label was bought inside eBay so not only the Seller would have a visibility of the address but you the buyer would be able to see where your purchase is being sent. Other solution would be to wipe out the other mambo jambo carriers that I have no idea they existed.
Hope it helps

Yes, try and contact PayPal and tell them of your situation and what you have on the shipping carrier. I am hoping that they allow you to file a case with them...if they do, allow the CS at PayPal to open it on your behalf so that it will hopefully have a bit more bite than if you had opened a case by yourself.
Good luck and let us know what happens.

Also I had to appeal the decision that eBay made this morning, they sided with the seller because they only looked at the fact that it said delivered but when I called and appealed the case I pointed out to the person the entire shipping process and the times and they flipped out and started laughing then agreed that it was impossible but all they could do is help me open the appeal, the appeal department wants a police report stating that the item went missing? That's crazy because it didn't go missing from here lol

Thank you, I will certainly make every effort I can to get my money back but at this point and time it is more important for me to try to do something to stop this non sense. I know as a seller like you have said that happened to you that buyers can be tricky and try their best to rip sellers off and that is very sad and it makes me very upset and so I can see how eBay needs to protect the seller but they should have a way to look at these cases with some intelligence and see what is going on. I have sold items on here and have had bad experiences with a couple of buyers so I know the pain of both sides and I'm sure that it's difficult at times but it's not impossible to see the facts. Again I truly thank you for your help, I am contacting everyone I can to hopefully get eBay to stop this con.

Yes I am going to contact PayPal but I am wondering if I do file a case with them as well would they then not help me because I have an open appeal with eBay?

I hope I have replied to each one of you who have been so awesome in helping me but if I haven't please forgive me and thank you so much for your help.

Hello I wanted to share the good new with you, after the good advice and following through with it I received a full refund. They finally listened and looked at the point about it only taking an hour to send the package from Chicago to Texas and decided it was impossible. Now I would like to get them to stop allowing this carrier to be used on eBay. Thank you so much
