Shipping bug -- item shows as shipped when we haven't uploaded tracking?

Hi. Customer sent us a screen shot showing the item indicates has shipped -- and is arriving Tuesday -- without us having entered tracking yet. Is anyone else seeing this?

Did you print the label on eBay...that would automatically enter the tracking number and mark the item as shipped.

If you didn't print the label here...are you sure that you didn't manually mark the item as shipped?

I did not use an eBay label (never do), and the item is still in "orders awaiting shipment", and when I go to enter tracking (which I have not done) the tracking fields are blank. I see no indication the item is shipped aside from the screen shot and question the customer sent us. Thank you for your response, though.

Just curious, you said "Customer sent us a screen shot showing the item indicates has shipped -- and is arriving Tuesday"  why did the buyer send you this message in the first place?

It would be interesting to see this screen shot. @puredesignhome - is there any way you can edit out the buyers identifying information and post a copy of it here?

There was no associated tracking number, just a delivery date, and they wanted tracking info from us.
