I am currently selling several LPs and ebay automatically set up the shipping rates as Media Mail which is fine for
LPs. HOWEVER, I am not trying to sell a vintage glass seltzer bottle and I cannot figure out how to change to make the media mail rate go away since it will cost about 3x that amount to ship a heavy object like a seltzer bottle. Every time I go into "edit your shipping policy" it tells me it will change my shipping policy for all of my currently listed items (the LPS which are fine to go at media rate.) As I peruse through ebay the policies act as though I can change
the shipping rate/policy for a single item but every time I try I get the warning"Media Mail is only for . . . " Yes folks,
I get it. I am trying to send this particular item at a different rate but you won't let me.
Anybody have any advice on how to keep Media Mail for the LPs but change the shipping rate for the other item??
Losing my patience here and I have been screwing around with this shipping conundrum for 40 minutes.

You shouldn't be editing your shipping policy.
Change the listing.

Do not "edit".
"Create a new one".
EDIT: wife's account has 7-8 " policies shipping"
Mine can be done with each listing, hers can not.

Are you using the "advanced " listing form? If not some options may not appear.
When you are doing a new listing there may be an option up in the right corner to select the "advanced."
Wife's actually has about 20 options.
Mine I select as I list with 4 options.
