As much as I despise using the GSP from time to time as a Canadian buying from the US I can't find another option. Any time I've used it it's made thru Erlanger in a timely fashion currently I have a package that has been there for a week and hasn't moved. Is anyone else currently experiencing a delay such as this.

I haven't used the GSP in years, but if I remember correctly that's not uncommon for a package to sit there for a week.
The worst case scenario is that the GSP loses the item and they are responsible for refunding the buyer, but I think it's too soon to worry about anything.

2 of my sales went thru GSP last week.
Both arrived in Erlanger on the same day (last Friday)
Both similar items.
The one headed to Germany departed the Monday.
The one headed to Canada is still sitting there.
Maybe there is a Canada Post issue?

I don't believe the GSP facility in Erlanger is a warehouse but rather transfer point for items being shipped internationally.
There are, of course, many things that can cause a delay. It is possible that the item has left that facility and been delayed by Canadian Customs or somewhere else along the line. Does the tracking show the item as being delivered to Erlanger?
While the GSP program hasn't been too popular with Canadian buyers, the fact is that many of the sellers that utilize the program simply will not ship internationally outside of it. In order to not be forced to having items shipped through it, I believe one has to find a seller willing to ship internationally without using it and to buy from them.

Your package is not necessariliy sitting in Erlanger ... it may be on its way, but it won't get scanned again until it goes through customs in Canada. Usually in Mississauga, from what I have seen.
Then it will be passed to Canada Post for final delivery.

Interesting! I had pictured it as more of a factory type facility rather than a warehouse for long term storage. Admittedly, I've never been to the place but can't imagine why they would need any type of warehousing other than short term for while the processing is being carried out.
Of course, I suppose they would have to have some sort of warehouse to store supplies used by them in the re-shipping process.
