So quick question, I bought an item from a seller. Tomorrow is the last estimated date of delivery. So I could file for item not received on 12-11 Wednesday correct? Or could I file tomorrow? I only ask because the seller has not shipped the item and has plenty of time to do so. Tracking still has it as pre-shipment awaiting item for roughly a week and half. It's a special limited item and I am pretty sure the seller jumped the gun and tried to sell something they physically did not have and now they aren't cancelling because it would look bad on them or something. So I'd rather not give them grace and just get my money back. I sent one message, asking about the status, that they haven't responded to last week.
Thank you. I don't buy from Ebay or have issues often, so I don't know how these situations are handled.

It won't let you open a case until Wednesday because the last estimated date is Tuesday and that date has to pass first.

The option will appear in the drop down when you file the INR (if it is available)
and not before.....
if you try "I didn't receive it" (prior to the EDD) you will see this page:
If you haven't received your item by Dec 12, go to your Purchases and find the item. Then select More actions beside the item and choose I didn't receive it to open a request.

File one day after 'estimated day of delivery'.
12-11 sounds right...Wednesday.
Don't email seller anymore. Seller will try to make contact after open claim...they usually do.
If tracking does get uploaded...just pay no attention to it.
Seller does get a 'ding' for out of stock' items...it does hurt the seller.
