I recently had a return due to damage caused during the FedEx shipping. I returned the sellers full amount including shipping and then filed a claim with FedEx. I was not sent the claim amount but 8.00 less than the shipping amount. I called and was told that when the claim was reviewed this was the amount the reviewers agreed upon. Be aware that they can damage your goods and yet deny a full refund yet you have to refund the full amount to the buyer. I will not use FedEx again!
USPS literally just refunded my shipping fees to me on a claim I filed for damage during shipment. I just cashed the check last week. Every USPS claim I have ever filed (and they have paid and paid quickly on each one) they have refunded me my shipping fees plus the item amount.
