have made a few purchases over the last few weeks and I'm noticing a scary trend of fake tracking numbers being provided by Chinese sellers.
first was an Australia post tracking number you click on the number all you get is
Tracking details provided but 1 month later still no shipping updated on that number because it was a fake.
I know this because I contacted the seller who had listed the item as 4 in stock in Australia with this message.
your add stated that your item was in BOTANY, Australia please tell me I won't be waiting a month for you to ship it from china? "yeah I must have been psychic"
the reply.
dear friend ,sorry for your long time waiting ,maybe it stuck on the road ,how about we send it by a faster shipping way ,if you don't want to wait it anymore ,we could refund you first to save your time ,is that ok ?wait for your news, kind regards!
ok so..yes send it faster......nope like a week later no news so I message after a week here's the reply
dear friend ,item to you need 2 weeks ,could you accept it ?wait for your news, kind regards!
ok you get the point how can you provide a shipping number for an item you never sent plus I'm stuck in the process because Ebay logs it as being shipped when clearly not.
the other fake tracking number's are Winit tracking numbers which never seem to work I've had a few experiences with Winit I dont think Winit is even international shipping more like china domestic,so why give a dumber from essentially a dispatch company knowing it wont track on ebay?
any way just putting it out there to see how everyone else is fairing
