Past the 6 days, still no refund, and unable to open a case

Hello, so I still haven't received a refund and it's been past 6 days (but within the 30 day Gurantee time frame) and for some reason I can't open a case when I click on the button. What can I do?

What type of information do you need? The last time I talked to customer service, they told me that I could open a case on May 1st. I haven't been able to call them today yet, but have contacted their customer service and am waiting for a response. I was just hoping that someone else knew what to do or experienced something like this before.

Re: Past the 6 days, still no refund, and unable to open a case

eBay allows a seller 6 business days to refund after a return is delivered back to the seller.

So count 6 days, excluding weekends and holidays.

When that time expires, eBay will send you an email asking Has the seller refunded? and then you can click ask eBay to step in.

Okay thanks. Thought I could do it already because they emailed me that if the payment didn't clear by May 1st that I could open a claim. Good to know. Thanks.

Yeah the hypertext link that you couldn't "click" doesn't work until the date specified- try it now.

if it still doesn't allow you to open a case then wait until tomorrow

good luck

Re: Past the 6 days, still no refund, and unable to open a case

Today is May 1. Wait until the day is completely over! The seller has 6 full business days to INITIATE a refund, most of which are by e-check unless the seller happens to have available Paypal funds.

Also, if your paid with a credit card, the refund goes to the card, not Paypal.

Thanks! Contacted eBay and they handled everything. They opened and closed the case based on the evidence I provided and I already received my refund. Thanks for all the comments.
