The email said allow 15 days. We have allowed 15 business days which would end next Monday the 13th. But based on another thread it seems this is a common problem. I voided the label because I wanted to go back and add insurance. So we wanted to give the postal service more money and to lose the cost of the other label is not good. Anyone had any luck getting refunded on a shipping label?
We paid using Ebay funds from a sale. Thanks.

I have voided many labels over the years without any issues.
I received a refund every single time.

I have had to void a label on a few occasions and every single time I received a refund. It does take approx. two weeks. Just be patient, today is the 8th....

It is not a "problem" with the system, that is how USPS is setup. They want to make sure the label that was voided is not used. Yes, you will have to cover shipping from other funds. The package will still need to be shipped in the time shown in the listing.

Since May 21 (the day of the void) was a Saturday we'll not use business or mail delivery days, just weeks. It's been 4 complete weeks and a couple days.

The amount of time that most any entity gives you for something is always a ballpark estimate. It will come.

If it was an international shipment they take longer to refund.

Have you looked in your payment transactions at all? You won't be notified when the refund comes through. Even though ebay states you will be notified I haven't been so far. Good Luck !

Nothing in payment transactions going back to June 21. Seventy three days and
>>>>> we will wait <<<<<
and from previous conversations with the postal service about various things contacting them on this label void may be fruitless.

Nothing yet it's been around 70 days. It's not in transactions or anywhere else. I guess trying to contact the postal service about it would fail.

What about prior to June 21st? Since you voided it in May, it should have appeared by the 21st.

I have never received notification, it is just credited. Looks under your payouts. It will look like a postage charge but will not be red. That is the only way you will know it is a credit not a debit.

In our shipping labels we can no longer see back beyond May 30. We shipped the item May 21. We didn't know the records would only go back 90 and we don't have the item number or shipping label number. It was a domestic sale and it's been 3 months and 1 week and counting. Every item in our account shows fees and labels for all items sold. There is no entry that would be the refund on the shipping label.
And the reason we voided the label was to "give the USPS more money by adding insurance"
Thanks.

To see if you got the refund you would have to look at 'all transactions' page in seller hub...
Sort type: shipping labels, do a custom date range and look for a shipping label transaction where the $ amount is black (not red.) That would be the refund.
