Browsing for music records, I started seeing sellers with eBay International Shipping, and I am getting estimates of 45+ USD for 25 - 40 business days delivery (from US to Asia). I could live with the price, but it seems steep for shipping that takes more than a month. Do you find this delivery estimate accurate, or is there at least a chance the items arrive sooner? Thanks!

With EIS that consolidated shipping costs includes the cost of domestic shipping for the seller to get the item to the hub in the US. Then the international rate charged by eBay/EIS is added on. Typically EIS rates will be higher than when sellers ship direct.
We've been seeing a lot of reports about EIS delays - packages sitting for 3-4 weeks. eBay opted every seller on the platform to EIS and the resulting volume has caused delays. Since the program is still somewhat new they are still working out issues.
So for the time being I would say expect delivery to take a long time, but hopefully that will improve before the holiday season hits.

$45 may seem a lot or little if you don't say how many records, and what records LP, SP. For ten, it may probably be OK, for one, it is a rip off. There are other services that seller can use with faster delivery. I don't use ebay, my recent sales in calendar (not business) days, with confirmed delivery: Singapore, 14,16 and 18 days, Australia, in average 23 days, Thailand 31, Taiwan 29, 31 days, China 21, Japan 10 various orders betw 9-15 days, New Zealand 19. I did not mail anything to the Philippines recently.
I would say there is a chance you would get your order sooner. It depends to a large extent on how long it is held at the customs. For example, Ebay may not provide a correct commodity code number, and this can easily add 2 weeks at the customs if the order is processed manually (or they may be other reason, additional errors on the electronic customs form)
