Need Help with EIS

I need EIS assistance.  I do not have the option in my shipping policy and per ebay I was opted in yesterday.  I also no longer have GSP.  Meaning I cannot ship internationally and have buyer's asking me about this.

Well of course you can. I have never used either GSP or EIS and I ship internationally all the time.  I buy my labels through Pirateship.

Thank you.  I prefer GSP or EIS.  I do not want to ship internationally without that.

There are some differences between GSP and EIS. One of those differences is GSP could be enabled/disabled at the listing level, therefore it was presented as a checkbox in business policies.

EIS is an account-level setting that unfortunately cannot be disabled at the listing level, so it will not appear in your biz policies.

For any listing you don't want to ship internationally, the only way to accomplish that is to set an exclusion for all countries in your biz policy.

I spot checked a few listings.

Another beauty seller reached out to me.  The makeup/face category is broken.  Of course, a big part of my listings fall in that category.  I haven't checked every category yet, but I know the Canadian buyer who reached out to me this morning was shopping in that category and I just verified that category is still broken.  Thank you though for that!!  Very helpful.

I have been discussing this with @sapphire_studio who's having that problem.

But it does not appear to be affecting you @luxe_beauty_4_less because I checked several of your listings in that category and all show EIS when I change my location to Canada. I just checked another - item 334717677492 - and it shows EIS to Canada. So does this one 334736618638

What's the problematic listing where the buyer could not purchase?

I've been chatting with ebay via facebook messenger while i checked a ton of sub-categories.  Some are good and some are not.  Some sub-categories under makeup/face are good and some are not...same as eye.  It's all over the place.  The MAC Black Cherry Blush is what got this started this morning when a buyer from Canada asked me how much to ship.  That's under makeup/face/blush.  None of the blushes will allow shipping outside the US.  Like I said, it's a bunch of sub-categories.

Health & Beauty Hair Care & Styling Styling Products is broken

Health & Beauty Makeup Eyes Mascara is broken

Health & Beauty Makeup Eyes Eyeliner is broken

Health & Beauty Makeup Face Bronzer, Contour & Highlighter is broken

It looks like all lip products are good.  I'm hoping this is just a factor of this rolling through categories.

Thanks for clarifying. I was looking at stuff like "foundation" thinking it would qualify as a "face" category.

Hey devon@ebay, could you ask the EIS shipping team about this? The OP and sapphire_studio are both sellers affected if they need examples. Is this an error they're working on for EIS or an intentional subcategory restriction? (see list above in quoted post)

Yes, I did find several affected once I knew the specific categories.

And another seller here is having the same problem. Hopefully this is an error that will be fixed soon and not some kind of category restriction with the new program.

60 Hours later and no fix.  I have many categories that have no GSP or EIS options.  Is this even being looked at?

Thank you.  That would be helpful.  I chatted with support twice on Friday and with eBay facebook messenger support team.  They all supposedly turned this over to technical support.  Not having visibility to anything with this "support ticket" leaves the impacted seller in the dark as to whether any corrective action is being taken.  Too much communication is always better than not enough.

Still broken.  No change in my listings that have no standard international shipping, no GSP shipping, and no EIS shipping.
