FEDEX put the tires ($488.88) next the garbage bin to take picture , to prove they delivered the tires .I live in the back apt 50 feet from the garbage bin. when i i received a notification ,i went to see there is no tires .
For me the guy from Fedex stoll tires ,he did not deliver the tires to the real address .
EBAY and SELLER they don't want to give my money back.
Just careful a signature is no required under $750. if you don't get you package you lose you money.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM EBAY.

Is that snow on the steps in Florida?

Neither eBay nor the customer is at fault for the carrier's stupid stupid move.
I doubt he "stoll" them.
I doubt they were even taken by a porch pirate, who would be a professional crook.
A neighbour probably saw them and thought "why is he throwing out perfectly good tires.
Print up a flyer, describe the problem, and ask if anyone took them.
Around here it is customary to put unwanted items out the day before garbage pickup for "neighbourhood recycling". I got rid of some nice cabinet doors with glass inserts and picked up a cute occasional chair that way.
You should be getting in touch with FedEx about the failed delivery. Their carrier is at fault.

Yep, and when neither side is at fault, it's a super frustrating positioning to be in.

There's a third side though. The nitwit who left the tires by the trash cans .

Agreed. This was my original assumption (FedEx did that to me once and we got lucky to retrieve the large package before someone else assumed it was trash). I've had so many bad experiences with FedEx.
But I'm now wondering if the trash bins were by the curb, or if they were at the top of the driveway (not put out for collection) because I'm realizing @Anonymous did not specify.
If they were by the curb as we're all assuming, then fight it with FedEx. You have photographic evidence. Take it up with FedEx corporate if you have to - take it to social media. It's not a seller issue, it's not an eBay issue. It's a FedEx issue.
But if the bins were at the top of the driveway, back by the garage where they rest on non-trash-pickup days, kinda far back on private property, then the package was not left "out with the trash" for the taking. In that case, report the theft to the cops. Will anything happen? Prob not. But if there's been a string of theft in the area it'll help to add on another report.
Any chance a neighbor across the street has a security cam or Ring doorbell that might have captured your driveway?
