My buyer picked "local pickup," apparently by accident. Is there a way from them to change to "shipping" instead? If so, I will need to send them detailed instructions. I don't see a way on my end to make that change. If I ship it, I won't get paid because I won't be able to show the QR code. What do you suggest? Any help would be appreciated.

I would cancel the sale and refund the purchase price with the reason that buyer requested it. Then relist the same listing, and the buyer can repurchase it selecting the shipping option. I would explain all this to the buyer before doing this.

Let the buyer know that unless they plan to pick up the item, you will need cancel and refund the item.
They can then repurchase with the correct shipping method.

Thank you. This is also what the buyer said was eBay's response when they asked. So this is what i did, snd then was charged a fee by eBay.

What reason did you choose for cancelling? Anything other than buyer request, or, problem with address, will be a fee and defect for the seller.

It looks like you are listing all your items with either free or $1.00 shipping. Why is that? I'm not sure what exactly you did to get charged.
