What’s going on eBay and Merry Christmas! So I’ve been selling on eBay for close to 2 yrs now and since June of 2024 international buyers can no longer view my listings without changing the URL to .com instead of .ca, .au, etc. Sometimes that doesn’t even work so then they have to rely on using a VPN. Not only that but 99% of my international buyers have to use a third party shipper such as ShipMyCards, Fixocargo, MyUS, etc. I’ve probably sold a handful of items since June using eBay’s international program. Before June I was having ZERO issues with eBay’s international program and my international buyers were having zero issues. Now a majority of my international buyers/repeat buyers are gone.
I’ve been in contact with eBay but it’s been a nightmare. I have no restrictions on my account, no restrictions on their countries, etc. Due to these issues I have seen a decrease in views, impressions, and revenue.
I ask that eBay please message me or call me to resolve this matter. I don’t understand how your Tech Team is offline only. That does us sellers ZERO good when trying to resolve an issue asap, not only that every other platform that I know of has a tech team on stand by as no business I know wants to see a decrease in profit nor do they want to upset their shareholders or users, they want more business.
I ask that eBay please get back to me in a timely manner so this can be addressed and resolved asap. Thank you for your time!

I looked at quite a few of your listings, they ship to United States only.
eBay's international shipping, if that is what you are trying to use, has certain categories they won't ship. Also if you title have "lot of" or "lot" in it, it won't ship with eIS either.
I found out about that when I discovered my mp3 audiobooks weren't being shown to countries eIS ships to. I dropped the wording Lot of or Lot and my items now show to other countries.

Thank you so much for the advice. I’ve looked over my account several times and I have no restrictions on shipping destinations, nor are any counties excluded. I’m going to remove the word lot to see if that changes anything. It makes sense though as my PSA slabs were able to be seen by International buyers but not lot listings.
Thank you so much and I will update this post if it works! Merry Christmas!

Could you please let me know if it still shows that I only ship to the U.S. and if so how do I adjust it as I’ve checked my settings and no country should be excluded. Thank you in advance!

sign in to the .ca and the .au sites, using another computer or another web browser without being signed in; then you can see what is being shown (search like anyone else would)

I’m looking over my listings and I have eBay international available for all my listings.

I’ve done that but it doesn’t do me any good as my settings are correct. I had no issues with eBay’s international program up until June 2024, then I updated the eBay app and then all this started happening. I’ve deleted and downloaded the app again, I’ve used eBay.com, etc and nothing seems to work. Trading cards aren’t restricted under eBay’s international program so that shouldn’t be an issue. My account is in amazing standings so that shouldn’t be an issue. Like I said this all started happening once I updated eBay’s app back in June. Since then it’s been a nightmare.

The category 'ccg lots' is the issue. From what I understand, 'lots' are NOT eligible for EIS. If you use the word 'lot' or 'bulk' ect in the title it should force you to use the 'lots' category for this reason.
I notice that you have one of your small lots listed in 'single cards' category. I do this as well, mostly to qualify for ESE on 10 +/- card sets, BUT I think there is a chance that if sent to EIS these may be rejected for being miss categorized. I would NOT use this tactic on your larger lots for this reason.

The issue is the word "LOT " in the title of your listings.

Do you know if eBay started banning the "lot" word for EIS searches in June 2024?
That's when OP started having issues for his international buyers.
I don't do international, but it seems such a weird thing that they'd not show "lot" listings and that they would "reject" a sale based on what category something was listed in after the sale and after being shipped to the EIS hub.
It's so wasteful. You'd think if it can't be sold or shipped for whatever reason, the sale would be blocked.
Are those rejected items kept by the EIS hub and sold, or are they returned to you, the seller?

I have no idea on that time frame. I know that they've blocked the keyword 'lot' from being listed in 'singles' for much longer than that.
I believe the issue is that they have to be able to specifically identify the item(s) at the hub. Both for customs and to insure they received the correct item. And there's no real way for them to tell if the box of random cards is the correct box of random cards or even how many cards there are in the box in most cases. So if you were to use the wrong category to get an assorted lot sold they would have to reject it for those reasons, I would think. They tend to err on the side of caution at the hub when it comes to customs laws. I have seen a number of posts about items being rejected once received there.
Note in my example you have to purposefully circumvent the category / keyword block.
Items that don't get forwarded from the hub are kept by ebay (usually resold domestically). The seller keeps their money and the buyer is refunded.
