Hello! Hoping I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Over the weekend, I noticed the eBay International Standard Delivery rates increase drastically. Typically, an 8 oz parcel to Europe would cost $12 - $16 to mail. Suddenly, I noticed I was being quoted over $50 for the same 8 oz parcel. I have contacted two different Ebay representatives regarding this matter. The issue was supposed to be resolved within 24 - 48 hours, but I am still seeing these inflated shipping rates. 😳 I ended up purchasing the shipping labels anyway in hopes Ebay will adjust the price when I am charged for them when they arrive at the shipping facility. I use eBay International Standard Delivery frequently, so this price hike is quite a problem for me!

It depends on the address and the country you are shipping to.
NEVER NEVER NEVER include shipping international in the price of the item, it just does NOT work
Example: Some areas of Canada are $11 for under 8 ounces, but $15 to $50 for other areas. It depends on the exact address.
India, Pakistan, and other Middle eastern Countries that have Camels that do Delivery, are significantly more expensive to ship to. Fed Ex/UPS/USPS have stopped shipping to countries that depend on couriers to hand deliver packages.
As far as USA addresses: Alaska/Hawaii, and may of the US Territories (Micronesia, Cuba, among others), parts of the country require private couriers that deliver to some addresses. So, in some areas, the shipping is MUCH more.... Some Alaska Address, are still delivered via Helicopter, Snow Mobile, or even Sled Dog...

Maybe you can help me with a package I shipped. USPS acknowledges receipt of package on the May 12th, but there is no further tracking. I have the international number, but nothing on the ebay pages list the USPS tracking number. Since the package has not reached the international distribution center ebay customer service says it is a USPS issued, but without the tracking number USPS can do nothing. It's not been 30 days yet so it is too early to file a lost claim and that once the claim is opened then they will be able to research. If that is the case then that means someone out there has the USPS tracking number. Do you know how to find the number and work to resolve the issue. Here is my tracking ESUS91348699

I am no longer using GSP. A funko pop sale thru GSP in a size appropriate box ended up with an additional $63 fee. After three of these charges in one week, no more. my profit margin is destroyed and i'm paying out of pocket for people to get collectables. I only sell several hundred items per year... i'm sure one of the replies will tell me how stupid i am for rEaSonS
nope.

It looks like you used international standard which is different the GSP. But it doesn't make sense as to why you have an extra $63 in fees. Could you please explain what your fees were.

I sell postage stamps -- hardly any weight at all -- but eBay wants to charge $12 to mail an envelope internationally. What am I doing wrong?

International shipping with tracking is expensive so $12 isn’t out of line. The problem is that in your listings you have the package type (next to package weight & dimension) set as either letter or large envelope so that is the rate that your buyer is paying. Both of those are a ‘first class flat’ rather than a parcel so there is no tracking and you would have to use stamps on the envelope for that. On eBay you can only print labels for packages, not first class flats.

Not if you use Pirateship. Their Simple Exports rates to Canada are the same regardless of address package goes to in Canada. The package goes USPS and Canadian Post delivers to buyer in Canada.
