I have replyed to undeserved negative feedback, but should I dispute with EBay to get it removed?

A buyer requested to return a pair of jeans because they said they were too short.  I stated a 30 inch inseam and they said they were 29 inches.  They did not open an INAD and returned the item at their own expense.  I remeasured the jeans after receiving them and found my description to be accurate, so I refunded only the purchase price of the jeans, not the original shipping.  The buyer sent me a message asking why they only got a partial refund.  I explained, with photos of my measurements (using two different tape measures) that original shipping is only refunded if my listing was inaccurate.  Now the buyer has left me negative feedback, to which I responded.  My question is... should I call eBay CS to try to get this removed?  Will they remove it?  It ruins my 100% Feedback score.

Thanks for any and all help on this.

Yes, call eBay and explain what happened, ask them to look at the listing and look at your photos of the measurement of the inseam vs. what the buyer is stating. I have had one negative and one neutral feedback removed in this exact type of situation where the buyer can be proven wrong. It may take 2-3 calls to get a CS rep to agree with you but persistence pays off.

Buyer is a jerk, and you did the right thing, but eBay won't remove the review.  I've tried to fight this kind of thing before.  You were completely within your rights to only refund the purchase price.  Ebay only requires you to pay return ship charges if you misrepresented the item.  Unfortunately, eBay doesn't support sellers aderquately.  If you try to get the feedback removed, you will spend way more time than you want on the phone with customer service and they will just infuriate you.  I honestly trust sellers more when they have one or two bad reviews.  It tells me that they are a real business.  Best of luck.
