I cant change the zip code for my buyer.

A buyer asked me to change there shipping address because they moved and didn't change it in eBay.

The problem is that I can change everything except the zip code. I used to be able to change this in the past.

Any way to fix this or is it a bug. The new location ( out of state ) has the old zip code from the previous address. It did not change it automatically like I assumed it would.

You need to cancel the order as a problem with the buyers address.

Relist and they can buy with the correct address.

If you change the address, you loose what little protection you have as a seller.

There's no way to change the zip code.

To prevent loss of your seller protect in an INR case you shouldn't change the shipping address on an order.

If your buyer needs the item to be shipped elsewhere you should cancel the order so the buyer can repurchase using the correct address.

Otherwise you ship to the address shown in the order details.

As stated above, you are not allowed to change the address. Cancel the order using "problem with buyer's address" and relist. The buyer needs to correct their address and can then repurchase the item.

It's not a bug @russb569hm . Logic points to this being fraud prevention. eBay intentionally made this change a few mos ago. Follow the advice provided by others above.

If you change anything from the information listed in ebay, you void out the protections you have as a seller. Process a refund to the seller with reason of problem with seller address. Inform the buyer that they need to change the address in ebay & then repurchase the item from you if they want the item.

I think you meant Process a refund to the seller buyer with reason of problem with seller buyers address.
