I can't create a calculated shipping policy

First of all I'm not an US based seller. I ship worldwide. Until now I use flat rate shipping for all countries (except US because no matter where you are from, US shipping described as domestic shipping) but in that way I should either undercharge or overcharge buyers. Shipping to Europa and Australia isn't costs same. I can't afford that anyway and decided to create  more detailed calculated shipping policies. But on the menu there's only USPS UPS and ebay international delivery options like I'm from US. Just another problem that eBay's Americentric mindset created.  I send a message to customer service about the issue. Answer couldn't be more irrelevant with the issue.

Here it is :

I understand that you are concerned about the shipping rates for different international location.

You do not need to set up shipping options on each individual listing as you can just apply the already created shipping policy on them.

You can mention the handling period, the shipping services name cost and whether you accept returns.

These policies can then be applied when creating new listings or even used to update multiple existing listings.

At the same time, you can define specific shipping costs based on the shipping destinations using the shipping rate table.

So, you can create your own rate tables detailing your shipping charges for each area based on various locations.

To apply your created domestic/international rate table, you will have to select "Flat rate: Same cost to all buyers" under shipping. Rate table can be applied to your shipping policy/on listing.

There are 3 ways you can specify shipping costs in your shipping tables:

-- By item: Your shipping cost depends on where you're shipping the item and the shipping method you use. This is the recommended method. Because, it helps to set buyer expectations and reduce shipping questions as you mention the exact cost to their location.

-- By weight: You set a fixed base cost for any destination and shipping method and then add an additional fixed amount per pound.

-- By surcharge: You set a fixed base cost and then add a surcharge to it for any destination and shipping method.

I would like to add that, calculated shipping can only be used when your item is physically located in USA.

Here is the direct link to know about setting up shipping options on your listings:

Here is the direct link to learn about business policies:

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/business-policy/business-policies?id=4212

You can set shipping rate table as per you are charged from the carrier company for different location.

Thank you for choosing eBay. Stay safe!

Well, the company is based in the US.  If you list on the US site (eBay.com) then calculated shipping is for items shipped from within the US.  When shipping from outside the US, you can set flat shipping cost for each item (or each weight range) for each country or region that you ship to.  For shipping to US customers, you'd set a flat price based on the cost to ship to the US from Turkey.

Ebay.com is an international marketplace, always was.  Also I don't think you understand my message, flat rate isn't different for each country or region as you told. Flat rate mean same costs for outside of US.  Problem is I couldn't choose different rates for different countries or regions. This is simply a glitch.

You can, if you set up shipping tables.

@play.tr

It would be very difficult if not impossible for eBay to set up and keep updating a shipping calculator with rates from each service from each country.   It  does make it less convenient for those of us from other countries but we set it up the best way that we can.

You can have up to 4 international options on the listing page so that gives you a little bit more flexibility. For example, use one price for expedited international shipping to Europe and the UK, one price for Asia with standard international shipping and then choose worldwide with economy international.  All of the rest of the countries would have that rate.

As @nobody*s_perfectmentioned,  a rate table might work too although I’ve never tried to set one up.

With rate tables, you can have as many separate regions or country rates as you want.

Still there's not a single person understand what I told. Problem isn't countries, problem is when I open menu there's only USPS, UPS and eBay international shipping options. I will not use any of them, I just need to see ''standard international shipping'' options as when I choose flat rate shipping instead of calculated one.

Your listings already show that you are using standard international shipping options when you use flat rate shipping so why are you seeing that you 'need to see it'?   Are you using business policies or are you setting up shipping on each listing?

I'm in Canada and do list on .com so I do know how to list when outside of the US. I tried to explain it and the other poster explained that you could also use shipping rate tables to set up various rates.  If neither of those explanations helps you then we don't understand what you want.

Because as I told in my very first message in this topic, I don't want to charge same amount of shipping from all countries except US. If I charge same shipping for same item both from Australia and Germany, I have to either undercharge or overcharge one of them. Is it clear enough ? When I create a calculated shipping policy eBay give me USPS, UPS and eBay international shipping options only like I'm a U.S. seller.

Yes, you are correct, you only see USA carriers (USPS, UPS, etc.), when using the USA calculator as it can only be used for shipments from the USA.  Sorry, but that's just the way it has always worked.

Instead of posting your items on the USA .com site, why not just post on your own local ebay site with USA shipping options?  This way you can have more control of shipping options and your items will still display on the USA .com ebay site.

It is very clear what you want This is not a  matter of us not understanding what you want, it is a matter of what is possible.

As we already explained to you it is not possible to use calculated shipping if you are shipping from outside of the US.  If you want to have separate costs for every country than you need to set up a shipping rates table as nobodys perfect explained.

Or as I already explained, you can set up 3 regions other than the US and set a different shipping cost for each region.  Those are the only 2 options.

I'm sorry that we can not tell you how to set up calculated shipping from Turkey because it is not possible to do that.   The options we gave you earlier are the options that are available to you. If you don't want to try them, than your only option is to continue doing what you are doing now.

This is just a glitch and I'm sure sometime it will be fixed. You guys still couldn't understand the problem.

I will continue to use global eBay.com site. I saw standard international shipping option when I choose flat rate so, this is mean to ebay.com isn't for US sellers only.

You still talking about something I didn't said. I can set different regions this is not the problem, problem is shipping options, there's not other options than USPS,UPS and eBay international shipping like I'm from US.

Really how many times I have to write same thing ?
