How to generate and print a USPS SCAN sheet?

Would some one kindly explain in easy to follow directions how to generate a USPS Scan sheet for daily shipments.  

Without using the bulk shipping option, please.

Numerous attempts to find directions or any info on printing USPS scan sheets through eBay help returned absolutely no results for me.

Can a seller with 4 sold items to ship create shipping labels individually then print a USPS scan sheet?  

Many complaints from sellers here about post offices not scanning packages and late shipment dings.

Local post master told me Monday that scan sheets for shipment larger than 4 items per day may be required in the near future due to the continual increase in package processing.  Too much employee time spent scanning and too many complaints from shippers about lack thereof.

Would ebay consider adding an easy way to produce a scan sheet (without launching bulk shipping) under the Paid & Shipped section in Seller Hub by allowing sellers to put a check mark next to the items a shipping label has already been created for,  then clicking a link that would automatically produce the scan sheet for those items?

If eBay doesn't update their shipping method and if the Post Office insists on scan code sheets we are not going to print labels on eBay but, we will take all of our shipments to the post office and let them print postage for each package. Tell that to the postmaster.

I think they will change their mind.

This is one of the many much needed updates sellers need to stay organized.  It's very difficult to do anything efficiently on this platform.  I'm sure others agree.  I like eBay, but I would love eBay if they could make things more accurate and efficient throughout the site.

I finally figured it out.  I was having trouble with my bulk shipping and getting error codes.  There was no way to go back and grab the scan sheet.  So here's what you do - go to your "sold orders" and click them all on.  Next, under shipping action, click "print shipping labels or invoices".  Click this next: 

Purchase and print shipping labels
 US Postage Service or FedEx shipping label

Don't repurchase the labels...Instead, look at the top right hand corner and you'll see this:

• Buy labels
• SCAN forms
• Go back to classic label printing

Just his SCAN FORMS and it will take you right where you need to be.

Don't worry - you aren't repurchasing the lables.  This is will get you to the page where you can find the scans.  

VOILA!

I'ts absolutely RIDICULOUS that these aren't available with the click of a button whenever you want them for the day! HUGE flaw and it needs to be corrected!

I'm finding less and less things being effcient these days. The moment you get comfortable with something here, they change it for the worse. Then you have to learn how that works and adjust your eyes to the look. Time spent when it doesn't need to be. While Ebay has so many things to fix, I always find the ones that don't actually need fixing being changed. Never makes sense.

Haha...I'm in the same boat, but to be honest man, Shipstation won't help you. Due to the fact that certain postage/services are cheaper to use here then with Shipstation it won't transfer and there is NO way to transfer it. So to get the SCAN forms within Shipstation that means you have to pay more to do it and ship with them which uses Stamps.com and not Ebay's Pitney Bowes account.

You can't win either way.

When I do what you suggested I get the below message:

You don't have any available SCAN forms to print.

USPS labels you buy in Bulk Shipping will be automatically included in a SCAN form here before you generate and print it.

BUY Labels now

Me too. Doesn't work unless the scan form was generated at the time the labels were printed.

I'm going to try it today.  I am curious as to why eBay chooses to have the absolute craziest workflow for sellers.  It feels like a maze sometimes.

I saw the discussion started one year ago. Any progress from eBay?? When can sellers print out USPS scan sheet for not bulk shipment? So I don't have to see the post office people's unhappy face every time when I carefully ask them to scan each package for me without the sheet.

Go to your browser history, in the search area type SCAN, from the results pick a scan label, it will take you to

BULK SHIPPING > SCAN FORMS page, from where you can generate the new scan from or reprint already generated ones. Once there, bookmark that page for future access.

I could be wrong, but I don't think this helps with the original issue. The original post was about how to create a scan form if you DO NOT use bulk shipping. I also ship sporadically through the day and do not use bulk shipping. Since no scan form is created during this process, it is not possible (as far as I can tell) to go back and recreate one later.

brianr64 is absolutely right. The only way the scan form is available is if you use bulk shipping. I, like many of you, pack my items as they sell and then put them in a bin for my postman to pick them up. He needs to scan each package individually, which can be time-consuming when there are 30 packages. 

I really hope eBay works on this, it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do.

eBay what the hell???  Over a year and no fix?  Time for more craigslisting or FB marketplace...
