Ordered item today and can 't tell where item is being shipped too. I thought it was being shipped to me and then again it doesn't look like it is.

a.) how does it appear it is NOT being shipped to you?
b.) is there tracking?
c.) when did you order?
d.) what is last estimated delivery date?
e.) what is the number next to the sellers name? (like you have a Zero, what is their number)
f.) Where does the seller reside? (usa?)

It should be shipped to the address you provided when you checked out.
Check the order and see what address it has.
If it's the wrong address, contact the seller and ask if they cancel the order.

Click 'view order details' or something like that next to item in purchase history.

What type of item did you purchase? Some trading cards, handbag and sneakers get sent to an authentication center and then forwarded to you.

This is what I'm confused about. They say it is being shipped "local pick up".
Is it local to seller or local to buyer?

Local pickup means you have to make arrangements with the seller to pick it up, usually you go to their town to complete the pickup @nicoo-9596. Shipping is not involved when you select the local pickup option.

Seller initially denied cancellation, but says to request cancellation again. However, I can't find option for rerequest.

Did you file a formal cancellation request that was denied or was this all through eBay messages? If this was through eBay messages then the seller can initiate a buyer-requested cancellation from their end. It's not possible for a buyer to send a cancellation request through the order more than 1 hour after the purchase.
Once a cancellation is denied through the system it's not possible for seller to cancel. So if the initial cancellation was a formal request and not through messages then a cancellation can't happen at this point in which case you can file an item not received request.

Local pick up is always the location of the item/seller...........which is always shown on the listing details.

Since it's 'local pick up' it would be 'local' to the both of you. You go 'pick it up, locally'.
