How do you combine shipping with only one tracking number, I read somewhere that if you try to enter one tracking number it will say '' this tracking number has already been used". In other words how to mark an item shipped.
Thank you ,
Walter

Hi, just go to order paid and shipped and copy the tracking number. Then go to items awaiting shipment and on the left of the order you will see a drop down menu. Just pick add tracking number and their you go.

Many times in the past, I have followed this advice, to manually upload the copied tracking number for co-shipped purchases. Recently, however, I combined shipping and uploaded the same tracking number for two co-shipped purchases. Only one of the transactions was correctly processed by eBay as accepted and delivered on time by USPS. I received a shipping defect for the other co-packaged item. I called CS and I was told that the transaction defect would be forwarded for appeal. Two weeks later, the shipping defect is still on my account. I am not sure if this situation is a glitch, or an uncommunicated change in how I should be handling multiple purchases by the same buyer, shipping to the same address. Is anyone else encountering this issue?

Not sure if this will help your situation but worth a try.
I use eBay bulk shipping (Shiptrack) to print all of my shipping labels. Simply check the box next to all items awaiting shipment then click the shipping / postage option at the top of the column. That will launch Shiptrack for you. If you had a buyer purchase multiple items and pay for them individually you will be shown a wide box listing those purchases and given the option to combine shipment. If you have a box or mailer large enough to put all of those items in, click combine, then close. Adjust the shipping details, weight, priority, box dimension if needed, etc. You can then print one shipping label for that box and all purchases by that buyer will show the same tracking number.
Alternatively, I have gone to Paypal and added the same tracking number to all purchases paid separately by a particular buyer. I clicked on each payment and added the numbers. All showed as shipped and tracked without issue for me.
Hopefully you can discover what works for you.

Yep, that is the system I use as well when using ebay's bulk shipping.

Highlight the radio buttons in your items awaiting shipment that you want to ship together
From the top left menu button the says "shipping" select "print shipping labels"
This should take you to a new window that says something like "you have items that can be combined"
Highlight the radio buttons again and pick "combine shipment"
Takes you to a new page that will have you enter in weight, size and method...
You'll probably want to scroll all the way to the right and make sure "show shipping cost" is NOT highlighted.
