How do you print a packing slip, if you don't purchase a shipping label? I just want to print a packing slip and put it in the box. I printed my own address label and will take the box to USPS to mail it. I don't see a link to just print the packing slip. Ebay used to have this feature.

One issue I have is that I did finally click on the "purchase shipping label" button, and Ebay sold me a label for $3.58, without me putting in a weight value or dimensions. I didn't notice that they just had some ones in all of the input boxes. My bad. I do have a scale, and after I inputted the real weight and dimensions of the box, it says that a label should be $5.96.
I am going to the post office tomorrow and see if they can ship for the amount on the label. If not, I will pay them the correct amount and void out this other label. I never did get the packing slip in the box, because I sealed it up after I bought the first label. I think I do see the "Print Packing Slip" on the page before I had to pay thought, so all is well.

If you go into the Print Shipping Label action for that item on your Sold Items page, you will find the link for "Print Packing Slip" in the upper right area of the Shipping Label form. If you don't want to purchase a label at that time, you can just back out of the form once you have printed the packing slip.
I guess my only question here, though, is Why? If you're already printing your own address label, why would you not pay the postage at the same time via the Shipping form? If you don't have a digital scale, cheap ones are widely available (I got my own from the post office, in fact) and will pay for themselves quickly in savings you get from purchasing your postage on-line instead of at the post office.

Hover over the 'Print Shipping Label' and drop down will appear; click 'print packing slip'
Curious, why would you want to pay more for shipping by buying over the counter than simply buying through ebay?

Also, the packing slip will show the price the buyer paid for shipping, and may not be the same as on the label when you buy it at the post office. Label printed from eBay, can be done without shipping cost on them. Buyers will not see you got a discount and complain later that you made money on shipping, or they were over charged! (ya right, made money! LOL 🙂 )
Unless it is one of the services you can offer but have to buy at PO, different story.

The packing slip accessible via your Sold Items page shows no prices at all, not even for the items themselves, nor does it make any mention of the Shipping method. I have a feeling that there's another format of packing slip that may show amounts as you described, though.

All is not lost. First of all, the post office is not going to accept the underpaid label, so forget that. As long as they do not scan it, you can void it out now and expect a refund in... oh, 1-2 weeks, once they determine that the prepaid label has not been used. Peel it off your box or cover it so that it cannot be seen or accidentally scanned later.
Now that you have the correct weight and dimensions to plug in, go into the Shipping form and buy a new label for the correct amount. The second tracking number will be automatically uploaded like the first. You may see a note about two numbers assigned to the same package, but only one will carry on to Delivery.

I filed a void with eBay for the first package and went to the post office to mail the package with the other label and they accepted it. On my eBay shipment billing page, it shows "void requested" on the first label. It also now shows "delivered" under both USPS tracking numbers for the same single item.
Yesterday, I received a random charge to my PayPal account from "eBay Inc, Shipping", and I haven't used their mailing service since 7 Feb when I mailed that package. I asked PayPal about it and they said it was an automatic billing agreement that I authorized with eBay and there is nothing they can do about it since it was an "authorized" charge. What the heck? I am going to query eBay about it, but they, make it difficult to contact them.
As a side note, I never did figure out how to just print a packing slip without buying their shipping label fist. I can only get to that option
AFTER I buy the label.

Does anyone know an APP that creates packing slips (I did search for it in the APP store but nothing came up hahah.) I’m looking for a template at most and a very basic one at best (to fill in company, etc.) I have no idea if asking this is against the rules. Lol Even if Ebay sells some template I’ll take that too!

I was never able to print a packing slip via the eBay app. I always would use the web browser on my phone. Where is says “buyer paid- >” click this. This used to work. However eBay web browser is not working on this screen.
As of now all you can do is print a “pick list” PLEASE FIX THE WEB SITE EBAY!
I ship via pirateship.com and never buy labels from eBay.

I tried to do that today, and I couldn't find a packing slip option. I had to go to the advanced shipping page, and then it appeared.
