I've sold two boxes of an item and I had them listed as buyer pays shipping. The person bought both boxes I had listed.
My question is, eBay only gives me one shipping label for both, but I need to ship separately. Is there a way to get a second label? Or can I only use the one and pay for the 2nd out of pocket?
I know it has to do with the way I listed the items and I'll look into it, but is there anything I can do after the fact?
Thanks.

@dexterb-41 Just buy another label. You will put one label on one package. The other label goes on the other package. Each package will have its on tracking number. eBay will associate both tracking numbers to the single order. You need both packages scanned accepted to be covered.
It is irrelevant that your buyer pays for shipping. You charged an amount to the buyer for shipping which the buyer paid to you. If you did not charge enough for two separate labels, that is on you. You still have to cover it and eat the loss if you did not figure it in to the cost of the item(s). You cannot go back and ask the buyer to pay more. If you cancel the order, your account will take a hit.
Some of that may not apply to you, but bringing it up just in case it does.

Thanks christworks.
I would never ask the buyer to pay more for shipping. I'm not sure where you got that from.
I guess I'm clumsily asking how to buy a second label from ebay. I've never noticed any option to do so.

Choose "Get another label" from the dropdown menu for that order, or go to the Order details page and there's a blue "Get another label" button near the top.

From the Manage All Orders Page
https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS
Find the item and then click on the 3 dots to the right of View order Details for the drop down menu to appear. Select Get another label.

Thanks all. In the end, I ended up putting out $20 for shipping.
The boxes were 18lbs. (12x12x10) and were going to Omaha from Pa. Not as bad as I thought it would be.
It's all profit, so it doesn't hurt too bad. 😉

@dexterb-41 I stated at the end of my post that some of what I told you may not apply to you. You mentioned that the buyer paid shipping, when that was irrelevant to the problem you had, I wanted to cover asking the buyer to pay for more in case you were thinking that.
