EBAY REFUSING TRACKING FROM PIRATE SHIP SO YOU CAN BUY FROM THEM!!!

I have not been able to add tracking from Pirate Ship

5 times now tracking number is used by another seller!

How can this be when tracking says label created!!!

I am not linking accounts whomever suggests this!

I think eBay is purposefully doiing this so I will use eBay''s

shipping! FIX THIS EBAY!!! IT IS ALL YOUR DOING!

Been happening since March.

I send customers the tracking link, but I am still

being accused of not adding tracking by eBay

in my seller status.

Does anyone else use PS and have this problem? I have not used PS recently to post tracking on Ebay so i can not confirm.  Not that i don't believe you, but wouldn't you see more users posting about this?  Maybe they are and i just don't see them.

The reason many sellers had to get PS was because eBay shipping

was not working or was down.

Looks like the solution proposed is to link PS with Ebay so the tracking automatically updates on Ebay. Good to know if that is how to fix it. Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe.  Maybe not.

But, the prices on eBay and PirateShip are the same (now that eBay uses cubic rates), and I find the eBay interface less problematic.  So, why use PirateShip except as a backup?

Plus, by using eBay's shipping, it adds more profit to eBay, and thus reduces the chances that they'll seek out more profit through increased seller fees.

I use PS for all my eBay shipping labels. Every once in a while, the tracking number does not upload to eBay correctly. I have PS integrated with eBay so that I can import the order straight from eBay and then when I pay for the label on PS it automatically uploads the tracking number to the eBay Order Details page.

It seems you are not importing your orders from eBay into PS but doing it manually. You really should integrate them as it will save a lot of time and headaches.

So my guess is that you have to manually enter the tracking number (copy and paste).   You can purchase your own label from anywhere and add tracking to an order.  Honestly, the prices eBay gives us on shipping are the same as Pirate Ship Offers.  Not sure why you would exclusively use Pirate Ship, especially since you are having issues

As far as eBay shipping not working, I think that almost always has to do with web browser and needing clear your cache.  Glitches do happen on eBay at times also... Maybe that is what you are experiencing

Just read an eBayer put in the wrong tracking number,

then no way to remove it. Maybe this is happening a lot.

I use solely  pirateship, I am not a volume seller. IN May i mailed around 65 orders, not a single problem. I have been using them since March 2019, never had a single issue.

Same situation here for the last week or so. I've used Pirate Ship for many years now without a problem and now around 1 out of every 10 tracking numbers are not showing on my sold items. If I go to manually enter the tracking number it shows like others have seen 'Tracking number is used by another seller'. The items are being marked as shipped but with no number. I'm integrated with Ebay so that's not the problem and like I said its not with every order so its a glitch somewhere.

As for those who recommend Ebay shipping over PS in my past dealings Ebay shipping was hit or miss and with Ebay shipping you needed to print all the day's labels at once if you wanted a scan form. With PS you can print labels throughout the day and print your scan form at the end of the day. Also if you sell on other platforms you can use PS where you cannot with Ebay shipping.
