Post Office increase again!

Getting tired of them raising their prices. They will keep losing customers. No reason for them to be doing this.

Post Office increase again!

USPS has been increasing costs yearly sometimes twice a year for years. I doubt they will lose customers over it.
There are plenty reasons for the increase, cost of gas, maintenance and repairs for delivery trucks sorting machines , cost of utilities, wages to employees. None of those things are free the funds to pay has to come from somewhere.

@endbossgames

The good news is it is happening to everyone so everyone will be charging more for shipping (or taking a loss).

I think there is another increase coming on the 14th of this month.

The only time they are not raising the rates in when they are on one of their endless string of holidays.

Not sure what complaining here on ebay will help accomplish.

USPS is independent of ebay.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I remember when I could mail a letter cross country for 3 cents - postcards or a penny. Bunch of greedy thieves.

Many times I have heard "Shipping is just not the cost of postage", the cost of your shipping supplies, Ebay's cut, your time. Well, the same thing applies to USPS, or any company. USPS emplyed 525,469 people in 2023. Plus benits. All the vehicles, all the building and inferstructure. It all adds up.
