Hum,Does it matter how my refund reads?Cause mine say seller refunded.Sounds right though
It matters because you are assuming that because you got a refund that the seller was the one who refunded and that they did something wrong.
The seller is allowed to provide a pre-paid label to another country.
The fact that you got a refund doesn't prove anything. Other than (and I am guessing here) eBay decided they just wanted to get you off their back so refunded you out of their own pocket.

Which quote are you referring to? The only one that I recall seeing in your threads was from Trinton and he said just the opposite..

The seller is responsible for the return shipping costs when the item was not described accurately, and this includes the item location. If the item was listed in the US, a US return address would be required. If the return address is in another country, the seller would have to pay for the return shipping. If they do not do this, a full refund is issued to the buyer without a return being required.

You need to read the line after the one you have in red....that is what applies to this situation. The return address was out of the country and the seller paid for the return.

The seller is responsible for the return shipping costs when the item was not described accurately. So they would be responsible for the return shipping regardless.

Sigh. . Yes the next line says the seller is required to pay return shipping but that does not negate the first line: If the item is listed in the US, a US return address would be required. Rinse and repeat.
No, the return address on the package was not out of the country. The address the seller wanted it returned to was.
This is the crux of the situation. You cannot list an item that says location is in the US, ship the item from a US address and make the buyer return it to another country in a NAD situation. Remorse return, yes. NAD, no. No matter who pays return shipping.
Do sellers do this and get away with it? Yes. Is it a major PIA? Yes.

I think you are incorrect @creoleorchid . The way I read Trinton's statement (which I admit is somewhat contradictory), that the seller is allowed to provide a return address outside the country the item was shipped from. Furthermore, the reps I've spoken to at eBay about this say it is perfectly fine as well, there is nothing in eBay policy that says you can't do this. In addition, if you look in site preferences for return ship address, as a seller I can set up a return address in any country I choose.

Were you under the assumption like I was when you bought your Ebay Item from a U.S address Warehouse /storage facility that if there were any problems with the item you just ship it back to that same address within the U.S?It was a big reason why I was willing to pay extra for my purchase.
