Cancellation for item that hasn't been sent

Hello, So i'm quite new to ebay and 2 days ago i bought a bike lock. turns out my friend also gave the same exact thing on the same day. So i cancelled the purchase before the seller send the product. When I cancelled a purchase in eBay, the seller used PayPal to transfer the money to my bank account. But, even after 1 day the money still hasn't show up. is this normal?

Yes, there is a lag time between refunding via Paypal and then Paypal crediting the funding source.
