Hi I am trying to create some listings with DVD box sets. and want to set it up so that the listings provide buyers with a choice between Media Mail and Priority Mail. However, I would like the price of shipping area to be left empty and calculated shipping to be shown to the buyers. How do I go about this? Every time I empty the boxes for shipping price and click LIST - it tells me in red ink at the top of the listing, "You must select a shipping price." Hmm. I am stuck on this one! I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you

If you pick flat rate shipping, there is box to enter an amount to charge. You must pick calculated shipping for that box to disappear and enter the weight/size so ebay will calculate the cost based on their location.

Hi fern, I did that already, entered weight and even box dimensions, I do not see a Calculated Shipping option in my drop down list, only in blue hyperlink above the shipping options drop-down. (I use flat rate for all other items, but for the listings I want to create for the DVDs (e.g. Babylon 5 is heavy with 5 boxes and 30 discs, so I cannot use the usual Priority bubbled envelope flat rate, or First Class).

And the funny part is, when I click on PREVIEW your listing, it shows me in the draft that the buyer can click on Calculated Shipping, no shipping is exhibited under the price, so why am I then unable to list it?

Never mind, I got it now! I think it may have been some temporary glitch, because when I went back to the draft, there was an option to select Calculated Shipping, right above the options drop-down, which was missing when I first posted here. All is good now...thanks again
