Hello
I recently bought a laptop from a buyer on Ebay. I immediately tried to cancel the order but it was denied because the seller handles everything with an automated process. The laptop finally arrived to me. I have been trying to return it but the return page just keeps reloading. I tried many methods to reach the return page and even use different devices and incognito mode but nothing works. I called Ebay multiple times and each customer service employee tried to open a return request for me, and then I'm always told that they're unable to because there's already a "dispute" (don't remember exact word) that is preventing them from doing it. They then tell me that I have to contact Paypal to resolve it.
I believe them because I was able to start a return process for a different item with no problems. This laptop is the only item that's causing me issues. I am definitely going to contact Paypal but does anyone know anything about this?
My theory is that my earlier request for the laptop order to be cancelled is somehow causing issues with me returning it. Like, maybe Ebay has some kind of rule that doesn't allow you to open an return request if a cancellation request get denied. Or maybe it's because I used paypal to purchase it, and there's some kind of dispute still on my paypal that's causing the issue. The problem is that I checked my resolution center and found nothing there and or anywhere else. I will try to email or phone them next

Sounds like you have buyer's remorse, so go ahead and just sell it on Ebay yourself.

Based on your feedback, which is still in the very low single digits and I caught how you have already returned an item...you do know you are costing these sellers money? Why don't you just stick to B and M stores...and skip online shopping?

No thanks, buddy.] They have a return policy for a reason. If they didn't want customers to cost them money then they wouldn't allow me to return the product. Furthermore, my seller is a large company, not some small seller, so don't worry about them losing a couple dollars.
You clearly have some kind of agenda behind your posts and don't want me to return the product. That's weird but I'm still going through with it. Do you have some actual help?

Have you tried messaging the seller at any point?

I have two accounts and over 4000 items bought, I have had to return one, and that was five years ago.
Eventually you can or will lose your MBG if you are abusing the return policy. Looks like you have bought around 3 items and looks like 2 have been returned or about to be..
