A buyer purchsed a Nintendo Wii from me with 3 games on April 21st. I sent it out and it was delivered on April 26th. The buyer sent me a message today, on June 18th, and said they want $25.00 returned because the Wii isn't reading disks. I don't sell broken items. I test everything out fully before I post it for sale. I used the system myself and played all 3 games on it before I posted all of it for sale. The buyer contacted me directly for a refund. They said, "sorry it took so long, but I've been busy." What's the policy for returns after 30 days? How do I know they didn't break it? I have a headache now.
Thanks for any input/suggestions/advice in advance!

Paypal isn't as generous with "not as described" items as ebay tends to be. They've had the system for a month and a half, most likely if they open a Paypal case, a simple call will get it closed.

Paypal does have the 180 day policy however when you bring up Ebay's 30day policy and your own 30day policy PayPal has sided with me every time especially if the customer tried to open a return through ebay and after I showed the messages explaining that to them..

Only a couple a year. I currently have a guy that bought something 4 months ago and wants to return it because it's not working and threatening me with attorneys for a $35.00 item. So with that being said I will do the same thing with PayPal and explain to them it's past the time for returns as I can't even pull up his transaction anymore since it's past the 3 months.
