Anyone else getting a "in transit" message on their tracking that's been stuck there for a week?

I sold an item back on the 15th and shipped on the 16th. USPS First Class Priority. Then I track it it still shows "expected delivery Saturday Feb 20th" but it still hasn't arrived yet and it's been stuck in the "in transit" position for several days now......   

At the top of the page  it does say that due to sever weather packages may be delayed. But from my understanding that severe weather has long passed...

  Is there anything I can do at this point?

Yes the US postal service won't ever admit it LOST.  They use such terms as " you package is moving in the system and is on track to be delivered " .   I have had lost items say that until the tracking number aged off the system.  You can try a call to the 800 number on the USPS web site. That can help get them unstuck is some cases.

thanks. I guess I'll just have to write the customer and offer her a refund.....Only my 2nd sale since I came back to ebay.....This is so depressing that this has happened   😞

I've been waiting for one that shipped from Oklahoma City and departed OKC on the 16th. Priority package that was suppose to be delivered in Tucson, AZ on the 20th.  It's been in Transit since the 16th, but updated on the 20th, saying it's in transit but arriving late, duh, no kidding.

Now I understand that the big storm hit OKC sometime around the 16th, but what's been going on since then? Is it still sitting in a truck somewhere frozen in a snow drift on it's way to the airport? 

Had a FedEx ground package shipped from Virginia on the1 8th and it arrived on the 24th as scheduled. It went right across the southern US with no delays. The US Postal Service is killing eBay sellers.

Yes, I shipped with tracking/delivery confirmation on 12/17/20, got To San Francisco 12/21/20, sat there for 6 weeks and was delivered 02/08/21!!!!Well at least my customer was patient and understood that USPS has problems.

It's happening all over the country. It will finally start tracking. The deliveries are often late from USPS. Communicate with your buyer. Let them know you are aware and following up on it. Thank them for understanding. Waste of time to contact USPS.
