Why does the buyer often pay less money for USPS shipping than I do? I wind up losing money when I buy shipping label. Do they lower the cost at their end?

No there is no discount for buyers on shipping. It has to be that you are not selecting the correct weight/dimensions when you create your listing. If you use calculated then your shipping charges are based on the weight/dimensions that you entered when you created your listing. Nothing would have changed after that so the shipping would remain the same. Are you certain you have weighed the box with packing materials that you intended to use when you created your listing?

I'm guessing your weights and dimensions are off. Does the lot of two phones, with boxes and accessories, really weigh less than 16 ounces? You have shipping listed as First Class.
