I find it very confusing and harder to use than the previous version. Please switch it back.

I would be nice if you actually read what is being stated. I am totally prepared for shipment. What don't you understand? I gave you a list of reasons why one might want to change shipping methods at time of label printing. I explained why the new interface is harder to use in these cases. Seems you don't want people to have their own opinions. Are you an eBay troll?

Actually it is hard to learn and more cumbersome to use in some cases. You say "I already know the shipping methods", that is NOT what many experienced shippers do, they make a best estimate in the listing and then refine at shipping time. It is causing a lot of confusion when people don't see the shipping options they are looking for and think those options are "missing" / not available. This very latest "smart box selection" just started happening with no announcement 2 days ago. This is because it only shows the options it thinks you might want based on the weight and measurements from the listing which is often an estimate rather than exact. People don't realize if they only change the dimension by 1 inch or the weight by 1 ounce other options (possibly faster or less expensive) will appear. Shipping estimates in listings is not an exact science and the exact weight, size are not certain till the item is all packed up. Sometimes is makes sense to use a slightly different sized box or try to reduce the weight by one ounce to save on shipping. A lot of experienced sellers consider this almost every label.
What I favor is that the new label flow would have 2 options - 1 for experts where ALL shipping options are shown to choose from. And 1 for people who want automated assistance on choosing a box. What I complained about in my first post (probably a little bit mean spirited, yes). Is that a good team of developers would have considered what was good about the old interface before dumping it for a totally new one which works for some but no so well for others. That is what I meant by them assuming they knew the best approach and I think more study of the issue before making the changes would have helped. It happens often that new changes get out and then rolled back after seeing they are not working well. This could be avoided by more testing and beta ahead of time.
If you want more information on these please read this thread:

If you have more relevant things to discuss, please respond, but don't just trash my posts without fully understanding the situation.

Opinion? I think learning a new shipping label form is relatively simple, especially when I already know the item's shipping method(s).

HATE THE NEW SHIPPING LABEL STILL TRYING TO JUST BE ABLE TO PRINT THE LABEL AND YES NOW HAVING TO PAY MORE FOR AS BUYER IS NOW PAYING \LESS

I am going through the same thing. The buyer is aware how there package will be shipped, as is stated First Class USPS shipping. Now when I get to the printing label, the only choice they give me is PRIORITY. What the heck? In the past, that was why I always went to classic, because they had CHOICES. I am not very happy. Ebay has not been taking care of this situation. I already sent Ebay 5 bad feedbacks and mentioned what the problem is. They had yet to fix this.

Huge problem with printing.
Right now if you select png file to create the label it will print out WHOLE A4 format page.
And there is no way to make it smaller - have to download label, resize it and print it again.
Not even mention other problems and options to choose shipping method.
Watta idiot made this system?!
I mean I know who did it, same cheap-cost "programmers" who did OS for last Boeing.
But it doesn't make me feel better, 'cos soon everything around web will be created by them or at least adapted for their "taste"... Happy I am old enough and saw web without all this **bleep**.

I hate it. I print 2 labels on each sheet of paper using landscape. No it shows it is going to print landscape, the box is checked for landscape but it will not print landscape. Now I cannot use the landscape peel and stick labels and have to use one sheet of paper for each label and the tape it to the package. What a waste of my time and money. Why did they take Classic away, I never used it for the above reasons, messed with it several time trying to make it print correctly but it will not 😞

Yes, I too do not like the new shipping page and wish to go back to the classic format, what I was familiar with. I told eBay this:
"The new labels are making me open them in PDF format. okay, I can deal with that but my record of the transaction is not being shown as before on the bottom of the page under the actual shipping label. And yes, I have switched around modes to get it to show up, but it still is not and I am NOT happy about this and wish to have the option to go back to the classic label printing.
Why did you people go and mess up a perfectly operating system that was in place and doing its job just fine??"

Nope, don't like the new format at all. And I leave a message to that effect each time I print a label (sadly --in a slump recently, so it's not as many labels as I would like). I think they are reworking pages for the tiny screens on phones and tablets. That format is not efficient on a computer screen.

There are also programming logic errors on the new print labels page.
I was trying to print a shipping label on Monday at 1:00 AM for the same date and it only let's me select Tuesday (tomorrow) as a shipping date -no option on the drop down for today's date. I have about 15 hours of time to ship the same date before my post office closes. Some Post Offices will not accept packages with future dates. I don't care for the updated layout (I thought the classic layout was great), but these logic errors are beyond annoying and it's hard to believe that the developers get away with bad code.

Yep, logic errors on the shipping label page.
After 2:00 AM CST, I can select the date field to the current date for shipping.
So I guess there's a bug where between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM, the ship to date field cannot be set to the current date. Hopefully they will fix this soon as I package my items late at night so I can ship around lunch time.

1. Have no issues printing a label on the new format - only print USPS labels - First Class Package and all types of Priority services - Flat Rate box & envelopes, Priority Regional Rate, std Priority, etc) for shipments to all 50 US states plus Protectorates and will ship to PO Box addresses. It did take a few minutes to learn how to navigate but after a couple trips thru - life was good again. Just like learning how to ride a bicycle w/o training wheels or finding your way around a college campus - where are classes, student union, field house etc and finding out that professors/instructors don't give "extra credit assignments" to help get your GPA up - sink or swim time.
2. if you are "hoping" that eBay will revert back to the old classic label, I offer this thought '"If wishes were horse beggars would ride."

That printer orientation for your FedEx labels is exactly what post -a -note is for (or reasonable facsimile). There will always be exception to most everything. Once you become a card carrying member of the Medicare club, you need to have post notes in every room in you house including each necessary room with or without a bidet, the garage & each car.
I remember that little saying in spelling "i" before "e" except after "c". Today, the modern education system has expanded this saying so that it takes at least two PhDs to cover all the various other exceptions. The one I posted worked well for me all the way past my degree and beyond. And the new math stuff was beyond me to be able to help my kids with Geometry, Trig and Calc. But some how I managed a 4.5 year degree in Automotive Engineering w/Business Ad minor. I could come up with the correct answer but my methodsolgy were not correct for the "nuevo" math.
