I ordered a product on 12/25/2024. It took better than three weeks to get here...hint not from China. The weather played a part, sure. The biggest part, by far, was the order was shipped from a Amazon Fullfilment Center. It appears to me they delayed the order just like they do with non-prime orders. They held the order for two weeks plus. The Seller of this item had nothing to do with this delay!!!!
As a point of reference I do not buy from Amazon for couple of reasons. First they treat their employees like CRAP! Secondly, if you are not a prime member they will hold your order processing for 5 to 10 days. I refuse to pay a vendor a fee in order to do something that they should already.
I am posting on this forum for two reasons. First and foremost I could not find a phone number for a live person. Worse yet I spent my valuable time trying to find a webpage where I could leave input. These webpages directed me to pages that didn't exist. Nice Customer Service!
Secondly I think that ebay should give me the option to eliminate sellers who use Amazon Fulfillment centers. Ebay, if it continues to pursue bad policies like the Chinese Vendors who go and still get special treatment on Ebay, will be swallowed up by the bad actors. Further I should have the option to eliminate, on my searches, the companies that are not based in the US and more importantly pay taxes here.
Ok, I have had my say. I can at least say I did my part. Most likely eBay corporate will never see this advice and if the recent past holds they can't see the forest for the trees anyway.
More than likely I will move on to another vendor. It is sad because I have been with eBay a long time.
Sincerely,
Ed

Ebay sellers who use Amazon FBA's Multichannel Fulfillment do not get the level of service to their order that Amazon Prime Orders get. They need to factor that into their handling time. They also may not have their orders to parts of the country which are rural or high crime use Amazon's own trucking fleet.
They are not violating any Ebay policy if they adequately make clear their handling and delivery times, and have Amazon ship in plain packaging.
If they are out of stock and sell on Ebay there are delays. The should cancel but probably do not know they are out of stock, and probably do not care.
You have had access to the Ebay Money Back Guarantee and probably should have filed an INR claim during the delay period. That would have been the only contact with Ebay needed, and it is done online.
They are no worse than sellers who use any other fulfillment service.

I am having this same issue. Purchased on Ebay and seller shipped right away from NJ. Now it is stuck at my local Amazon Logistics center since Saturday at 1 AM and has not moved since. I contacted Amazon logistics with no help they do not track ebay orders and contacted the seller to ask them to follow up. Was supposed to be here today but that is not going to happen. :{

A day after the estimated delivery date Ebay gave you, open an Item Not Received case.
Go to your purchase history and click I didn't get it in the menu next to the item.
The seller will have 3 days to provide a tracking number showing it was delivered or refund.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.

"Secondly I think that ebay should give me the option to eliminate sellers who use Amazon Fulfillment centers."
So you think eBay should now invest in man power to verify every single sellers fulfillment?
It's not going to happen.
What you can do is just not buy from that seller again, and if your item doesn't arrive on time then you report it and get refunded.

As a point of reference..1. No one forced to work for Amazon..not happy, find other jobs..2. Prime members get preferred treatment for a reason..customers who pay more get better treatment…3. Actually eBay listing location of the item but indeed most of the merchandise manufactured abroad..try to walk to any b and m store and find something made locally…good luck…

Company that has the most H-1B employees is Amazon.
No one in the USA wants to works long hours for little pay.
60% of Amazon sellers are 3rd party sellers.
eBay shouldn't allow sellers to use another platform to sell their items on eBay when they have never actually had the items on hand.
I thought I would throw my two cents rant in as well.

NIETHER of those statements are REMOTELY true.
I've been buying on AZ for the past 4 years without being a Prime Member once and most all my items (at least 100 different items) have been here in 2 to 4 days. Some items, you can see are not shipped/housed by Amazon and it says when you can expect it.

Amazon Fulfillment uses Prime shipping speeds. It sounds like it was held because it was out of stock and the seller had to replenish their stock.

The main problem is not that no one in US wants to work long hours for little pay but because it is hard to find qualified employees…I have friends in Silicon Valley and this indeed a big deal to find skilled people in US…
