In short, a buyer requested a return for an item. I had no plans to accept the return but I accidentally approved it when I was reviewing the request.
Do I have any options to cancel the approval or am I now at Ebay's mercy?

Did this send a label for them to return the item??
No options to cancel that I know of.

No, I stopped at sending the label. But now I can't back out of the process. Pretty sure I'm f**ked.

please make sure you provide the buyer a label.the buyer can step in with ebay in a few days and force a fast refund if you have not provided a label.ignoring this will not make it go away but the buyer just might not send it back

@adzilla_atxwhat was the buyers reason for wanting to return the item?

He’s using a **bleep** reason. I sold him some shoes that were listed as pre-worn/pre-owned. He’s saying a hang tag is part of the shoe. The tag wasn’t included in the shipment, wants return or discount.

Nope! Not without any penalty. You're basically obligated.
