40 days now showing on handling time (desktop only)

I've not seen any discussion about this and cannot find anyone even mentioning it online. Last I knew we had a maximum of 30 days for handling. When did it go up to 40? Guess maybe I've been hiding under a rock?

devon@ebay  - not sure if this got lost in the shuffle when Velvet left, but it's been over 2 months since she confirmed that the pre-sale policy was being extended to 40 days as well to match the new handling time option, but the policy page still has not been updated.

• The date the item will be available to ship must be clearly stated in the listing.

devon@ebay  kyle@ebay  elizabeth@ebay  - the presale policy page has still not been updated to reflect the 40 day handling time that became an option last July, as Velvet previously said it would.

Buyers and sellers are somewhat in limbo on this issue now - since the policy page still says presales must ship within 30 days are listings with the 40 day handling time option violating that policy?
