I sold an item and, I guess the weight provided in the listing was off. When it got to the buyer, USPS told him postage was $2.52 short. I always use "Free Shipping" so this was on me. I just refunded the buyer the money, however, I want to avoid this in the future.
When a listing is purchased and becomes an Order, how can I go into the shipping details prior to printing the label, to double check that I'm calculating shipping correctly?

Are you printing your labels through eBay? If so, you just select a shipping service, then enter the dimensions and weight on the label page. The cost will be shown there.
Of course, be sure to select a correct shipping service that can be used to ship your item.

Each label can be modified prior to printing the label, but you can NOT modify the shipping on the listing that was paid for.....
I am sorry, but your post is confusing a bit.......
