For example, http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=tablet&_rss=1 no longer shows an RSS feed. This significantly impacts my visibility of items for sale.
The following RSS link format no longer works either:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/rss/?_ipg=200&_nkw=tablet&_rss=1&rt=nc
The links just show search results as you would see in a browser.

I don't know if it is actually exactly the same search, but I was able to get a working rss for the tablet example in the original post:
https://www.ebay.com/dsc/i.html?_ipg=200&_nkw=tablet&_rss=1&rt=nc
The key here seems to be having the "dsc/i.html" in the query instead of sch

+1 for this issue. Glad to know the problem isn't on my end. Thanks for your post.

I just noticed this, too. This is horrible. Severely impacts me. *sigh* Once again, as we move through time, things here get more controlling and more difficult to do just normal business. Always more work. Always less of the pie.

Well, with rss feeds gone, I will buy less, since I will no longer get the alerts. Their loss...

Same here. Feeds was an incredibly easy to scan thousands of items and buy stuff I didn't know I wanted. Now it's no different than other platforms, so less buying. Maybe I'll actually go outside now!

Oh no !!! Please ... 😱
This is my only way to follow eBay. 😩

I rely heavily on this feature to keep track of items in several dozen categories using very specific search terms. I don't have the time to run all those searches manually. RSS is the perfect solution to that problem. Serving search results in XML format instead of HTML to support RSS is trivial. Why would they turn off a feature so useful to power users?

As a buyer I'm very upset that ebay has seemingly killed off RSS feed support, I know they have "saved searches" but when you'll dealing with over 90 searches (like me) doing that is pretty much useless.
I'll definitely buy less items on ebay, because of this bone head move on ebay's part.

What, possibly, could be an actual benefit for eBay for turning RSS off?
Some developer had to take the time to terminate this feature. How would simply letting RSS run in the background be a negative for eBay? As others have said, without this feature, buying more stuff and spending more money on eBay is significantly curbed.
What a poor business decision, eBay.

This is definitely going to impact Ebay's business. 99% of my purchases were made through searches in my RSS feed. As another poster stated, I would sometimes purchase stuff that I didn't even know I wanted!
Sucks, do better ebay!

Need this fixed! Most of my purchasing is through feeds
