I hate to have to check US only every time I search for any item, it's annoying. Any way to have location preferences set?

I used to sell a while back, just got back into it...so I cannot recallWhen an items sells, shouldn't I get a message?Buyer has not paid, or maybe he did, who knows since I didn't get ANY messages.
