I have noticed over the past few days that recent posts , ( mostly critical ones ) do not seem to move to the in the most recent ( when commented / replied to ) ? make me wonder as they are all critical of ebay low sales . and i know the ebay watch dogs will come with their same old same ( pls i have heard it all and do not agree with you ) , but i have quoted on several slow sales threads and none of them move up in the most recent ..... is Ebay trying to make things look better then they are or is it just a glitch with critical threads

Posters can customize the sort order of threads when they're logged in. Sounds like your setting may have changed.
Edit: appears to be a Khoros system lag. Community team was tagged below with screenshot provided.

I am seeing something similar.
Some threads are sorting correctly by the time/date of the latest post, and others are not; but I'm not going to speculate about why some threads are being affected.
I checked that my display preference is set correctly, to sort by the time/date of the latest post. And yes, I have been refreshing the page, but some threads are not being sorted correctly, while other threads are.

Then I'd suggest you and @jasoheat_0 post screenshots and tag Devon at eBay so he can report to Khoros.

Same as above. I'm seeing some not sorting to the latest posts as well.
My settings are the same as always.

I have screenshots!
Here are my settings, showing Sort topics by: X Time of most recent post
(Note: I tried changing the sort order to Original posting date, and then changed it back, but it didn't help.)
This shows part of the main community forum feed (all boards). The date/times highlighted in yelllow are sorting correctly, the one highlighted in green is out of order.
