eBay Discussion Bell not being updated

Today I had to scroll through 4 pages of discussions to find my post, which had a responding post and 2 other comments.  Hopefully eBay will fix the problem of NOT updating the bell to show follow up comments or see that it gets fixed by the company handling the eBay discussion boards.

Discussion bell? There's a notification bell that shows when you have 👍.

But if you want updates in your post they get eMailed to you but you need to activate that.

Click Additional options below your post when you write it. Then click eMail me when someone replies. 
You could just click your ID to go to your profile to find your posts.

The notification bell has always shown me additional posts.  Today it showed the post by ebooksdiva, so it is now working as expected.

There was an issue with notifications on this forum around the first/second week of July. That timing corresponds to your last post so that's probably why you did not see the alerts.

You should never have to scroll through several pages of discussions to find your posts. Just click on your avatar on the top right of any community page and select "view profile." You can also click your ID on any of your posts to get to your profile page. The default tab shows threads you started, and the secondary tab shows your replies to discussion.
