Video on how to add item specifics

I had missed this, but saw it this morning

https://community.ebay.com/t5/What-s-New/Updates-are-happening-to-some-item-specifics-and-category/b...

Watched the video......which was fairly good with one major exception.......  if you READ the long thread concerning IS, you will note one of the more frequent questions is "how can I fill in IS that don't pertain to the item" "takes forever to put N/A in the tens of IS"......I don't have time to fool with all the non nonsensical/non applicable IS".  In other words sellers don't know how to handle the IS that don't apply.

Would improve the video (my opinion), if ebay would state "ignore the non applicable IS".........just don't fill them in.  That's was Harry's advice (miss Harry).......in the last go round of this stuff and I assume it is still true.

It would also perhaps help to give the Category team (whatever the term is) to send emails to if people want changes in the IS........  I believe some problems did get straightened out that way.......

Thanks @dhbookds! We're glad you found it helpful in general and have passed your feedback on to the owner of this video regarding that call out that IS's don't have to have anything filled in if they aren't going to be used.  😊

Re: Video on how to add item specifics

velvet@ebay   That's good velvet..........now a couple more suggestions.......lol

I think the original thread that ya'll put up was a big help............Kudos.......now it would help to state that all changes have been done.........let that thread go from stuck to the top

And then add an "What to do after the changes" sticky thread, with a link to that video......AND the information to skip/not fill in recommended IS that don't apply.

I noticed your answer to some with vases in plate category.........looking at my stuff, I have alot of that also.  You asked for old categories, item #'s etc........to me that's asking for probably 1000's of examples and what's ebay going to do?  and how soon?.........  If there is no good answer to that.....probably best to say.....we did what we could and unfortunately, some listings are going to have to be adjusted by the seller.......  There will be screams......but there always are.

I really think the video info about where to find the requireds and the information that the recommended IS that don't apply can be ignored would help alot of sellers..........and forestall alot of the same questions over and over.

Thanks for any help..........
