Seeing issues with the new Community platform?

Thank you for helping us catch those bugs! While we did work hard to make sure we caught any issues before we released the new changes to the Community, there might be some issues that we didn’t catch. If you find any issues, please post them only here. The Community team will be actively monitoring this post and we’ll work as fast as we can to get them resolved. No need to @ mention us, if you post here.

Be sure to include links to the pages, screenshots, which browser you’re using and other relevant information you can share.

Thanks!  That work around certainly would work!  Good suggestion.

My problem is I am already flying with a whole BUNCH of tabs open and at some point the browser is going to reach out thru the screen and dope slap me! 😁

How about adding a Night or Dark Appearance Theme mode like many sites have.

If you are using a common desktop browser, there are third party add-ons that allow you to invert page colors at the touch of a button. Dark Reader is one. I have not used Dark Reader extensively, though I did try it out a while back. It should work with many browsers. There are other options as well: one called Dark Mode, and another called Night Eye, but I have not actually tried those.

I think I found my temporary solution That is just reduce the size of the window to reduce the amount of glaring white, I should have thought of that sooner.

Ohhhh! I haven't looked these boards for a long time (think years). Really,  they've been shredded. Pasteurized. Seems like they have been developed to make sure that groups of particular enthusiasts do not solidify into into lumps or islands. 😄

Where are the page numbers that use to show up at the bottom of my Notification Feed and My Replies list in my Profile? Now I have to click on View More and Show More to see 5 more items or one page at a time, when I use to be able to go to page 8 or 10. ? What if I want to go back a couple of months? I have to just sit there and hit View More dozens times? That's TOTAL  **bleep** @community_team

Some posters get confused by date in the banner above that denotes how long someone has been a member of the community forums with how long they have been a member of Ebay.  It would be nice if more clarity was added to the verbiage in the banner to lessen confusion.

So threads don't roll to the top when someone makes a post? Ebay, did you even think about this? If a poster were to start 30 nonsense threads, then in order for people to find and post on their favorite threads they would have to scroll through those first 30 threads every. single. time.

Great work eBay!  Do you have a plan for that? Because somebody will do it

Could you please let us know asap........which are feature requests?  If our definition is different......there could be some problems.  i.e. 6 months of waiting for flooding fixes, promise of titles reinstated to posts, etc.

And I'm still waiting on an answer to a simple question as to whether Blue responses will be identified as "ebay" on the main board page.....

Usability as a responder:

1)   While looking at another's profile, like @mam98031   I was flumoxed to see "my settings", so I clicked it and it was indeed "my settings".  I don't like that sort of ambiguity.

2)  I also miss the eBay core header at the top. I will frequently click "sell" up top to get to my lister to answer a question, but I now see that I could also do that from the new footer, as "start selling".

3)  Likewise, the help link at the top has been a regular standby, but that link is now duplicated less prominently in the footer as "contact us".

4)  When someone asks an account question, I use the core header avatar dropdown to go to account settings.  There is no link. One must now open a new eBay page and navigate further from there.

5)  For buying questions, there appears to be no direct link to buying anywhere.

6)  And, lastly, I open multiple tabs when answering questions, so, when something requires an eBay search, I simply use the search bar at the top of one of my finished discussions to search eBay.   But not anymore.

BUT, the full eBay footer is only visible on full desktop. Narrow views show much less. Both are shown below.

So, anyone with a narrow screen will have to return to the core site to navigate to any of these features.  I hope there is some way to return some of these missing features in the core heading.

These two in particular are of grave concern!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but there is no link to SEARCH or Advanced Search in addition to the My eBay pages.
