Page refresh redirects to Community Home page

About 30% of the time I refresh a page in this community- when the page loads it diverts me to the Community Home page. Hitting the back button doesn't take me to the page I was trying to refresh- instead it takes me to the page I was on before that.

It's not a browser or OS issue as I've confirmed between myself and 2 other posters that this is happening with both PC and Mac and it's happening with FireFox, Chrome, Edge and Safari.

Hi @coffeebean832, thanks for touching base on this! I've also noticed this a couple of times and am working with brian@ebay to investigate. It's difficult to recreate since it seems to happen randomly, but we'll see what we can find and work with Khoros on a fix.

My third post about this in the last 2 or 3 days. (The others are somewhere in all these threads). Still not fixed, still getting sent back to the Community page when I refresh, then I have to find a link somewhere on that home page to get me back inside where I can at least post. Even worse than it was last month and apparently still no closer to being fixed.

And I dont even know if this post will show up because underneath it says "you must be signed in to add attachments". So how many other people are having the same bloody problem but cant find any way to post or any PLACE to post???

ETA - Just noticed the date on the first post. This has been going on since JUNE???

It happens to me daily for the last week. I have to log in using incognito mode, then it will let me log in to the community. This is irrelevant as to how I access the Community - link type into browser - from the Hub - from a saved favorite, etc. And it does not matter which browser, Chrome or FireFox. Frustrating. I got the incognito idea from a CS rep.  Thanks.

@fashionclubgurl @nc-daydreamer -  You're both referring to the sign on issue which is a separate monster and there are many other posts about it on this board. Redirecting to the home page does happen as part of the sign on issue- but that's not what the original home page redirect error is about. You can be logged in or logged out- doesn't matter- and refresh any page or forum and it will send you to the home page instead. It's a separate issue from the sign on errors.

brian@ebay- I'm going to venture a guess that perhaps this issue is also stemming from an eBay problem, not a Khoros problem. Can you ask the eBay programmers to look into it? After all this time it's still happening and super annoying. Thanks.

@coffeebean832 last I heard about this issue is that it was resolved. But that doesn't look like the case based on your experience. I'll look into this some more starting on Monday to see what I can find. I may ask you for more details depending on what I heard back from Khoros. Thanks!

Thanks Brian. Providing some more info in advance- this has been happening with 3 different browsers on both my computer and my iPad. It happens both when I'm signed in and when I'm signed out- even happened a few times on a browser/device that was never used to sign in to eBay. I refreshed the Selling page and was redirected to the Home page.
